The inner hippie in me (that makes my son’s baby food) wants to make my own almond milk. The inner diva in me, however, does not. This weekend, though, the inner hippie (located in my pinky toe) won. With a bag of almonds in hand, a good blender and some willingness to experiment, I emerged with two civilized ways to make almond milk that aren’t labor intensive. Here is the first of two recipes. It is a little nuttier.
